LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — ASM Global announced a significant expansion of its ASM Global Scholarship Program with the addition of 50 new scholarships, bringing its total educational support commitment for 2024 to $250,000.
Launched by the ASM Global Acts Foundation, the ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program was created to provide assistance for students in diverse and under-resourced communities across the U.S. with both education and opportunities for career development.
Scholarships through the program are available for students pursuing careers in business, hospitality, entertainment, sports management, media, IT or design.
“We are incredibly proud to support students in our local communities by investing in their education and making college accessible and affordable and by offering career-development opportunities for our future leaders,” said ASM Global President and CEO Ron Bension.
“We’re determined to build bridges of opportunity to future generations and give them reasons for optimism for hope via real hands-on experience in education and employment opportunities. We’re making rapid progress as a company, and we intend to intensify those efforts even more in the coming years,” added Shauna Elvin, ASM Global chief human resources officer.
