August’s PlayStation Plus Essential free games are now available to claim – WGB

If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscribers the latest batch of “free” games are available to claim and play right now. As always, even if you don’t plan on playing them go ahead and add them to your library. Provided you have an active subscription, you’ll then be able to download and play them whenever you like.

This months big game is undoubtedly Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which is based on all nine of the main Star Wars movies. It’s a massive game with hundreds of hours of content, and a solid Opencritic rating of 82.

Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach is the second game in the lineup and I’ll admit I know absolutely nothing about FNAF series. Nothing about it speaks to me. But obviously it does appeal to a lot of people, so hopefully Essential title will please some folk.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights rounds out the selection this month, a dark 2D fantasy RPG that holds an 85 on Opencritic.

This month’s games replace July’s selection of Borderlands 3, NHL 24 and Among Us.

Do you think August’s lineup is a strong one?
