Unlocking the medicine crafting function
After defeating the Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, you’ll receive the Evil Repelling Medicament formula. Return to Xu Dog and hand it over. This will unlock the Black Myth: Wukong medicine crafting function. From this point onward, you can interact with a shrine to select the “Make Medicines” panel, or chat with Xu Dog in various locations.
Consumable recipes must be acquired first, either while exploring different regions or by purchasing them from Xu Dog. The materials you need vary for each item, though most are herbs, fungi, and plants. Here are some examples early in the campaign:
- Evil Repelling Medicament – Considerably increases damage reduction for a long duration; requires 1x Licorice and 1x Jade Lotus.
- Tiger Subduing Pellets – Moderately increases damage dealt for a long duration; requires 1x Snake-Head Mushroom and 1x Purple Linzhi.
- Body-Cooling Powder – Instantly removes burnt state and increases burn resistance for a short duration; requires 1x Fragrant Jade Flower and 1x Jade Lotus.
