Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases on October 31, and it’s shaping up to be another epic installment in BioWare’s beloved franchise. Preorders are now available ahead of its launch, and you’ll find three editions up for grabs. Alongside the $70 standard edition, there’s a $90 deluxe edition loaded with exclusive DLC, and a premium collector’s edition called The Rook’s Coffer that comes with heaps of physical collectibles. Best Buy is giving away free $10 gift cards with preorders, though only the standard and deluxe editions are available to order from the retailer at this time.
Quick look: Dragon Age Collector’s Edition Preorders
Here’s a closer look at The Rook’s Coffer collector’s edition, which looks pretty awesome.
Preorder Dragon Age: The Veilguard – The Rook’s Coffer Edition
$220
The Rook’s Coffer collector’s edition is available for Xbox, PS5, or as a standalone bundle without the game (mainly for PC players). With the game it costs $220 (you’ll get the deluxe edition) and without the game it’s just $150. Regardless of which you choose, you’ll get the following goodies:
- 22″ Light-Up Lyrium Dagger – Charges with mini-USB, can be turned on/off, designed for display, not play
- Rook’s Card Deck (52 Cards) – Each card features characters and places Rook encounters
- Companion Litho Print – 18 x 24 inches with art featuring allies
- Potion Flask – Decorative, don’t drink from it
- Thedas Illustrated Map with Quiver Tube
- Enchanted Die – D12 die with dialogue-wheel UI, comes with drawstring storage pouch
This version is bound to sell out fast, so reserve a copy soon if you want to add it to your collection. If it does sell out, we’re hopeful it’ll be restocked ahead of launch–check back frequently, as we’ll update this article as inventory is replenished at retailers. Note that the standalone version has disappeared at GameStop, likely due to a pricing issue, but it should be back online shortly.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Preorder Bonuses
Preordering The Veilguard at any retailer will get you the Blood Dragon cosmetic armor for warrior, mage, and rogue classes. It’s not much, but it’s a nice way to improve your characters look during the early hours of your journey.
