The movie then follows Furiosa’s years growing up alongside Dementus and the rest of his crew and depicts how she becomes the no-nonsense, selfless, and brave grownup that we meet down the line. We also find out how she ends up as a driver for Immorten Joe, with the final scene of Furiosa setting up the character’s opening in Fury Road.
Like every other film in George Miller’s decades-long dystopian franchise, Furiosa is fueled by dazzling colors, outlandish characters, gargantuan war rigs, and greed-driven mindsets. It’s a movie filled with explosions, brutal killings, and pulse-pounding moments as the audience waits to see how the titular killing machine gets herself out of impossible binds.
