Microsoft has revealed three new titles that are coming to Xbox Game Pass for the second half of September. Interestingly enough, only one of the trio will arrive on consoles: Wargroove 2 on September 19. Following up that sequel strategy game will be two day-one titles for PC with Frostpunk 2 on September 20 and Ara: History Untold on September 24.
Wargroove 2 was announced last year for PC and Nintendo Switch. The sequel hasn’t been available on Xbox yet, as the Game Pass date seems to indicate when it’ll release on Xbox consoles for the first time. The title offers three campaign arcs as well as co-op and multiplayer modes.
That’s not the only sequel coming to Xbox Game Pass, either. Frostpunk 2 wants its players to think bigger in the city-building survival game. One of the bigger changes for this game compared to the original is it moves day by day instead of hour by hour.
Last but not least is Ara: History Untold, a game that looks to combine Civilization with a dash of battle royale. Xbox Game Studios is publishing this strategy title from Oxide Games and featured it during a Developer Direct earlier this year.
In addition to these three games, Game Pass subscribers are getting extra Overwatch 2 benefits today, such as six hero skins. On the flip side, Microsoft is removing nine titles from Game Pass soon, like Gotham Knights and Loop Hero. Keep in mind Game Pass subscribers can also purchase all of these titles for 20% off.
