LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Independent publisher, record label, and management firm, Position Music, announced the addition of Josh Deane, Shannon Corsi, and Josh Tangney to the company’s artists and repertoire team.
Deane joins Position with almost a decade of A&R experience, with past stints at Interscope, where he signed and developed artists such as Louis The Child, ROLE MODEL, and Easy Life. His resume also includes past roles at Atlantic Records, Live Nation, and his own tech-music consultancy.
Corsi comes to her new role at Position after spending five years at Justin Tranter’s publishing company, Facet/Warner Chappell, where she helped to develop the company and worked with a roister that includes singer/songwriter Skyler Stonestreet (Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Dove Cameron) and producer Russ Chell (Lil Nas X, Future, Tate McRae), among others.
Tangney got his start in the industry as part of Andy Grammer’s management team, where he played a key role in the helping the artist to achieve more than 3 billion global streams. He also played a role in Rachel Platten’s career development, supporting her 6x platinum single “Fight Song” and the platinum hit “Stand By You.”
All three new hires will report to Position’s Head of A&R Mark Chipello.
