LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran facilities manager Mark Lynch has been appointed as the director of London’s famed Wembley Stadium.
“Wembley Stadium is an iconic venue recognised around the world. It has a history of hosting the biggest and best sports, music and entertainment events and I look forward to continuing that work in the next stage of the venue’s development,” Lynch said.
In his new role at the Wembley, he will oversee the production of events at the 90,000-capacity sports and entertainment stadium along with managing day-to-day operations, including sales and revenue generation.
Lynch most recently served as Executive Director of Venue at Twickenham Stadium, where he oversaw operations and was part of the executive team for the Rugby Football Union.
Past roles include operations director at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and assistant coordinator for FIFA during the world cup in South Africa in 2010.
