LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Metallica and the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation announced that the fourth annual Helping Hands Concert & Auction will take place December 13, 2024 at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park.
For 2024, late-night personality and comic Jimmy Kimmel will return as host though additional details about this year’s performance lineup have yet to be announced.
The concert will also feature an auction featuring unique items and experiences with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the cause.
The benefit concert last took place in 2022 with a lineup that featured appearances from Robert Downey Jr., Tony Hawk, St. Vincent, and leaders from six of AWMH’s non-profit partner organizations, also featured performances from Greta Van Fleet and Metallica.
The 2022 edition of the benefit concert helped to raise approximately $3 million dollars, which went to support All Within My Hands’ mission to support workforce education.
Launched in 2017, Metallica’s All Within My Hands has raised over $15 million and provided $8.2 million in grants to career and technical education programs including the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, as well as more $3.6 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.5 million to disaster relief efforts.
Tickets for this benefit show go on sale on Friday, July 26 via Ticketmaster.
