Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Complete Digital Collection Is Only $20 At Amazon

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is on sale for an 80% discount on Amazon right now. You can get HD digital copies of the full nine-film arc and tons of special features for just $20 (was $100). This set is eligible for Movies Anywhere, so you can add the movies to your personal library and watch/download them on any device. This deal does sound a bit too good to be true, so it is possible Amazon made a mistake here. If you’re interested in owning digital copies of all three Star Wars trilogies, it’d be smart to snag the collection as soon as possible.

You can check out GameSpot’s sister site, Fandom, for the full list of bonus features that are piled into this high-definition digital collection.

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is also available to stream on Disney+. If you want to own the movies in HD, however, this collection is certainly the cheapest option we’ve seen in a long time. Physical box sets with every Star Wars film are surprisingly not as easy to find as you’d probably expect. You won’t find a box set that’s shipped and sold by a major retailer, and oftentimes, you’ll need to pick a region-free international set such as this 2019 set of all nine films on Blu-ray for $107. The prequel and original trilogies (Episodes I-VI) are available in a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack for $54 at Amazon.

If you only want one specific trilogy, there are matching region-free sets (2022) available for $32-$37 each.

The 4K Blu-ray options for The Skywalker Saga are pretty slim. You can import this region-free, limited-edition collector’s set–Best Buy had an exclusive on the US edition of this years ago–from Amazon for $280. You’d be paying a premium, as this set was previously available at Best Buy for $220. Your other option would be to create your own collection by purchasing each film separately. Thankfully, the 4K editions released in the US in 2020 are still available.

At the moment, all nine 4K Blu-rays cost roughly $220 at Amazon. Most of the films cost $25-$30 each, but The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker are only $15.61 and $14, respectively, which helps bring the overall price down. Each movie comes with 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray discs, a bonus disc, and HD digital copy.
