LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Just days before they were scheduled to take the stage for the tour opener, Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees have quietly canceled their entire North American tour.

The tour was scheduled to get underway at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 9th and run through September 21st when it was scheduled to close out at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.

So far, no one has provided any insight into why the tour was canceled, with Ticketmaster providing the brief statement: “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.”

This is the third year that the famed rap troika has canceled some if not all of their shows and follows last year’s cancellation which was attributed to Lauryn Hill’s vocal issues.

At present, the band’s upcoming European tour segment, which kicks off at LANXESS Arena in Cologne, Germany, on October 16th, is still on the books. However, many dates on the tour appear to show wide ticket availability, based on Ticketmaster’s seating selection function.

The tour was an continuation of the group’s “Miseducation Anniversary Tour” which launched last year to mark the 25th anniversary of Hill’s seminal The Miseducation of Ms. Lauryn Hill. The tour was to be the first time Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel, and Lauryn Hill reunited on stage since a 2021 one-off concert in New York.
