Disc Two also contains the US theatrical cut, this time on Blu-ray, and contains featurettes on how they adapted the book, details on the beloved special effects, and explanations of the music score.
Disc Three and Disc Four feature the German extended cut on 4k UHD and Blu-ray. The special addition to the set that fans might enjoy most is Disc Five. Featuring a recently created full-length documentary titled Life After NeverEnding Story, it includes 70 minutes of extended footage and deleted scenes, as well as the film’s original trailer.
