What’s this? What’s this? A Lego Nightmare Before Christmas set, that’s what! Inspired by Tim Burton’s designs, the 2,193-piece set is priced at $200 and just launched for Lego Insiders. It’ll be available for everyone to buy starting September 6.
Inside the box, you’ll find 2,193 pieces that you can use to construct three locations: Spiral Hill, Jack Skellington’s house, and the Halloween Town Hall. These include authentic details like the walking bathtub, a chalkboard in Jack’s house with his formula for Christmas, and the lectern at the Town Hall where Jack gave his speech about Christmas. You can display them separately, but for a true diorama piece, you’ll want to place them together on your shelf, as they really do have an impressive presence.
With the eight included minifigures you can recreate scenes with Jack Skellington, Sally, Sandy Claws, Lock, Shock, Zero the dog, and the two-faced Mayor. The set includes a booklet featuring interviews with the designers of this kit, as well as all the instructions to piece it together.
Nightmare Before Christmas fans should also take a look at the upcoming full-color manga based on Burton’s film. The manga adaptation is available to preorder for $16 (was $20) and releases on Halloween. You can also preorder the Ultimate Full-Color Edition of Zero’s Journey, a sequel to the film, ahead of its October 8 release.
