In addition to directing behind the scenes, Tom Hanks has amassed dozens of credits as a producer since the late 1990s. Hanks has helped develop numerous documentaries (CNN’s decades series The Sixties, The Seventies, and The Eighties, in particular), award ceremonies, and feature films including The Great Buck Howard and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
Currently, Tom Hanks is in the middle of producing the upcoming Carol King biopic Beautiful and the Gary Sinise vehicle No Better Place to Die, set during the invasion of Normandy in World War II.
